Le Béguin Rouge 150cl
AOC Valais
CHF 70
A blend of Diolinoir and Cabernet Franc, this wine is Olivier’s favorite-hence its name « Le Béguin Rouge ».
Diolinoir is a Swiss grape variety created in 1970, resulting from a cross between Rouge de Diolly (Robin Noir, experimentally introduced in Valais in the 1920s) and Pinot Noir.
Cabernet Franc is a grape variety that plays a key role in producing exceptional red wines, appreciated for its aromatic complexity and balanced structure.
Le Béguin Rouge is deeply colored, with aromas of cherry, violet, and dark fruits. It reveals a moderate acidity and velvety tannins. The aging of these two grape varieties in oak barrels for 18 months brings out its full finesse.
